From Rome or Florence

Take the “A1 highway from Rome towards Florence or from Florence towards Rome until the” Chianciano Terme exit. Follow the signs for Chianciano and continue along the SP40 or SP146 road towards La Foce. After passing La Foce, keep going straight: you’ll find yourself on the scenic Cypress Road that leads directly to Vitalenta.

From Pienza

Leave Pienza and proceed along the provincial road SP146 towards Chianciano Terme. After about 8km, turn left following the signs for La Foce and continue for another 5km. After passing the La Foce area, you’ll find the Cypress Road: follow it to the top and you’ll arrive at Vitalenta.

You can’t miss the route: the Cypress Road is unmistakable and Vitalenta is the only structure you’ll encounter.
